WHAT I'M DOING NOW

I started my PhD program in Spring 2025, and I’m still in it, mainly working on my research. There have been ups and downs along the way.

In 2026, I’ve spent time in Colorado, Japan (a short trip to visit my partner), and Vietnam. The Vietnam trip was especially memorable because I finally got to see my family and my lovely brother after three years apart. Those moments still stay with me. I’m now back in Florida, getting to know and love this place for its nature and its old-Florida lifestyle.

Besides that, I’m getting back into biking (not *cycling). My first long-distance ride was with my undergraduate professor, Dr. van Howe, and my friend Moti. I recently did a 60 km ride with a friend, and I’m slowly getting more confident about long rides.

Here is my lovely Pizzaria on the Wheel. I adore this bike brand, and I really enjoy fun, quirky bikes.

The song that stucks with me right now is Camera by Charli xcx. It was just a song I ended up play repeatedly on my 14 hours flight to Vietnam thru Japan. I kept replayed this even on the flight back to the US. I am unsure why I like it, the tone is slow, sad, memorable, and probably of how it makes me feel.
